 Outdoor Revitalization Update (May 2022)!

We have secured another piece of major funding and thus construction on the new outdoor rink / beach volleyball facility will begin this Spring. You will see in the thermometer that the project cost has increased and thus we still have a shortfall in our fundraising, which means that some of the items in the project will be deferred until next year.

In addition to having your family's name on the rink itself, your name will be added to our donor list online, as well as posted on a "leaf" and added to the vinyl banner in the hall!

PARKVIEW OUTDOOR REVITALIZATION - FULL PROJECT OVERVIEW

PVCL approved an Outdoor Revitalization Committee (ORC) in the fall of 2017.  We have been working diligently since that time with our City of Edmonton representative to get this project underway!  The project will focus on the areas to the north and east of the hall.  It will include removing the chain link fence, rebuilding the rink, adding a sand base for summer beach volleyball (and other sand-based activities), refurbishing the basketball court, and repurposing the tennis court.  (Playground will remain as-is)

The project will cost an estimated $1.2 million, which will come from community fundraising and grants from the City and the Province.  

We need your help to fundraise!  The sooner we raise the funds, the sooner the project will happen!
