The Parkview skating rink is now open!

The skate shack is available but is currently undergoing a renovation to develop a small concession room and improve the washroom as a result the washroom may be closed for some periods.

Skating hours are ...

Monday to Friday  3:30 to 8:30

Saturday and Sunday  noon till 5:00

For the two week school holiday the hours will be the weekend hours.

There is no attendant at the rink this winter, so as always the rink is skate at your own risk.  Rules are posted at the rink.

For your safety, helmets are recommended for all skaters.

Parkview is looking for an entrepreneurial person who may be interested in maintaining a small concession and being present at the rink during the open hours.  There is some room in the budget for a paid attendant but it is hoped that the operation of a concession will be profitable.  The concession room should be completed in the new year.

Alternatively Parkview is also looking for some volunteers who are interested in helping open and close the rink and to help out with the continued improvement of the rink.
