Riverview Hockey Registration: 2011 - 2012 Season **Limited Spots Available
Just a reminder to everyone that hockey registration for the upcoming season is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 10th & 11th , as noted below. The Riverview hockey program for Novice and Initiation 2A levels will have representatives working at the Whitemudwest Novice registration table.
For returning players, you should have recently received a “pre-populated” registration form through the mail – if not, a blank one is attached. Please bring the form to the registration dates noted below, or you can drop it off with myself (8104 – 139 Street). In either case, please write RIVERVIEW on the top of the form if you wish to join the community hockey program.
Please note that Riverview will be fielding one NOVICE team on a first come, first serve basis. Coach Brian Mulder and Assistant coach James Boyko will be leading this team and registration will be limited to 14 players. Once this team is full, a waitlist for a second team will be created, however, no guarantees for a second team can be made. Registration forms and fee payment are the requirement to hold your spot on the Riverview NOVICE team for 2010 – 2011.
As in past years, there will likely be 1 or 2 Initiation 2A teams, depending on the number of registered kids. Riverview does not have an Initiation 1A level and this is only offered through Whitemud West.
For those of you who are new and joining the community hockey, below are a few details that describe the Riverview Hockey Program:
- Friend Requests: Play with your friends within your community, greater flexibility when teaming up kids
- NCCP qualified coaches
- Extra ice time at outdoor community rink (in addition to regularly scheduled indoor practices)
- Support the local community hockey program
- Pre-season indoor practices
- End of year Trophies
- Team and individual pictures
Please forward this information to anyone you know who may be interested in hockey for the next hockey season. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to email or contact me (780 483 1288). If you are interested in coaching a Riverview team, please contact me directly. Thanks,
